Pronar disc mowers - versatility and convenience in one
The new PDF301 and PDF301C mowers have been designed primarily for use on heavy, rough terrain. The main component of the mowers is the proven and reliable PRONAR cutting bar, which guarantees high quality mowing. The machine's design is strong, flexible and compact, based on modern materials and technologies. This, combined with a large range of terrain copying, makes the mowers cope with all conditions, maintaining excellent cutting quality. One of their biggest advantages is the wide terrain copying range - up to 700 mm (450 mm/14° up, 250 mm/10° down), and the transverse copying range is 24°. This ensures perfect adhesion of the cutting bar to the ground at a constant angle (regardless of terrain conditions) and a clean and aesthetic cut. Disc mowers with a working width of 3.4 meters, such as the PDF340 and PDF40C, are much more efficient than front mowers with a working width of 3 meters. They can also be combined with two-sided mowers, which require a front mower with a similar working width. The working width of the mowers was achieved by using a heavy-duty eight-disc slat manufactured by Pronar, in which two discs with scraper drums are mounted on both sides of the slat. As a result, the width of the swath left is the same as that of three-meter mowers.
